Mother's Day Next Week

Make plans now to attend our Mother’s Day service at 10:30 AM next week. This is always a special time as we celebrate motherhood and honor the women in our service. To make this a special event, we will be giving away $10 gift cards to all mothers 80 and over and a number of mothers chosen at random. Also, the oldest mother will receive a special gift. Mothers, be sure and fill out an entry form as you enter the church next Sunday. Every lady will receive a free gift. Invite your family and friends.

Thank you for all of your love and expressions of love with all the cards and kind words. It has been a wonderful 46 years at Eastside Baptist Church. Church Mission's Project in Myanmar
Total Raised: $2,290
Our project is to raise $15,000 to be placed with another $15,000 of matching funds provided through Trailhead International to build a church in Myanmar. In connection with a missionary, Brian Weed and Trailhead International are raising funds for the construction of a church in Myanmar for a total of $30,000. If you are able to help, please make your label the envelope “Myanmar.” Thank you.

Ladies' Bible Study

The ladies will be meeting in the Teen Room on Thursdays at 10:00 AM. All ladies are invited to a study of Ecclesiastes from Courtney Joseph’s book “Ecclesiastes Wisdom for Living Well.”
This Bible Study will be led by Elvira Corbello.

Broady and Kayona Martinez
The Cornhole Champions For April
Broady and Kayona Martinez were able to hang on to the coveted Eastside Cornhole trophy. They remain undefeated. There were 16 teams entered, with a couple of teams going undefeated during the regular bracket competition. It finally came down to the championship game between the team of Carl and Donny Callaway and the team of Broady and Kayona Martinez. Once again, Broady and Kayona are the champions. Congratulations!
